Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. She was also recognized for her TV debut as Eleni Andros cooper in CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the creator of the Immortals film Immortals is being adapted for the large screen. She will be working with Vlas Parlapanides as well as Charley Parlapanides. Her upcoming TV series, Gods & Heroes is currently working on.
