David Muir was born in the US and is an American journalist. The ABC News program World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a popular for a number of years. Additionally the show, he is also a co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. Its dramatic video footage and the animated movements make it the most popular newscast in the United States. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated show Made In America. His predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before taking over the show. He has reported numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's been to a variety of nations around the world reporting the current news. The locations include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He has received a variety of Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to awards from the Associated Press.
