Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie became the very first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and celebrity media personality. She became famous for becoming the first female to win been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area along with her parents and siblings. As a kid, she has been a sport and fitness fanatic. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir in 2021, was aged 31. She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began the CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. She had a good performance during her first competitions. She placed among the top 10 in a field of 70. However she was unable to achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. After one year in CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance earned her the title. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She became the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and most recently, in 2021, she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has led her to become the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube Channel, where training videos as well as travel and family videos are uploaded.
