Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of in the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. The media acclaim she earned came from her becoming the first female to win been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. From a very young childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and loved exercising. She was awarded numerous medals at school events. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions in California. Her first results were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. She's 5' 7 and weighs 67 kg. Annie started CrossFit classes in California at the age of 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing within the top 10. The team was unable to earn any titles, and finished 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was able to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she had won consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. In 2021, she won the bronze medal. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and the Sidekick Yorbae.
